I’m one of those geeks who started building static websites in HTML with FrontPage over a dial-up connection back in the nineties. I eventually caught the PHP and CSS bug, joining the PHP-Nuke and bulletin boards (phpBB, Simple Machines, and vBulletin) fever until WordPress came out in 2003.
But there’s a second layer to my geekery. I’ve been a cartoonist since childhood, publishing my work in high school and university papers, and even winning a few contests back in my native country. Today I’m an Adobe Illustrator addict, converting creative ideas into vectors.
I’ve been living a double life for over two decades. By day, I earned a BSc in Biology, an ASc in Environmental Chemistry, and an MSc in Biotechnology Applied to Conservation and Sustainable Management of Environmental Resources. By night, and all through my studies, I was offering creative solutions to the motorsports industry.
Tech aside, in the last seven years I’ve been writing stories for motorbike-related blogs. Additionally, I crafted digital content for brands like Harley-Davidson®, and published chronicles in some of the scene’s magazines.
Decades later, I still bring that same day-one curiosity to everything I create. While my academic background looks worlds apart from my career, it trained me to be an incredibly analytical and methodical problem solver.
By the way, did I tell you that aside from freelancing I’m also a professional truck driver? So, whether on the saddle or in the cabin, you’ll definitely find me on the road!
